Off-Site Programs for Individuals, and Small and Large Groups

SLA designs language programs for businesses, schools, government agencies or any organization that requires professional language training. Programs are tailored to the needs of each client and may be scheduled anytime of day, seven days a week. Programs include:

Workplace language classes for employee development and personal enhancement
Group training for staff who interact with international colleagues or customers
Individual coaching for executives who conduct business with international clients or partners
Intensive and semi-intensive courses for groups traveling or working abroad
Cultural seminars and consultation for companies preparing to do business overseas

Off-site (not at SLA) rates and policies

Clients can choose from a variety of standard language packages – from 20-hour to 90-hour programs – or may request a fully customized program that best suits their needs, resources and learning objectives. Base hourly rates and standard off-site package prices are given below:

Custom Language Programs require prepayment for a minimum of 10 hours
Programs may be scheduled in the morning, afternoon or evening any day of the week
Prices quoted above do not include materials; the cost of materials will vary from program to program depending on the number of participants and the learning objectives of the individual or group
For destinations outside the greater Seattle area a travel fee may apply
Minimum lesson duration for offsite programs is 1.5 hours

SLA instructors

SLA's instructors have extensive teaching experience and bring both linguistic and cultural expertise to the classroom. Currently, 95% are native speakers and all hold graduate degrees in the languages they teach or have completed post-graduate coursework relevant to the teaching of foreign languages.
