Ruth Higgins
Ruth Higgins, M.A., University of Connecticut, comes to SLA via Mitchell
College, where in her role as writing specialist she provided one-on-one
writing support for college students, taught writing in the classroom
and coordinated the English as a Second Language Program. In addition,
she has served as writing coach in a variety of fields, including
business, and writes commercially. Ruth has lived and worked in Bermuda,
Berlin, and Toronto. |

Christine Knorr
Christine Knorr holds an M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language
and French from the School for International Training in Brattleboro,
Vermont. She has taught English in France, French in the United States,
and English as a Second Language to diverse student populations. She
has also been a teacher trainer at the School of TESL as part of the
Seattle University Master's Program for the past five years. She is
committed to standards and invests both intellect and heart in her
teaching. |

Audrey Lucero
A native of Denver, Colorado, Audrey Lucero holds a B.A. in Psychology,
a B.S. in Communications and an M.I.T. (Master’s Degree in Teaching)
with a specialty in Elementary and Spanish Education. She has been
teaching English to students of all ages since 1997 in both public
and private schools in the U.S. and abroad. |

Laura Nelson
Laura Nelson has over 20 years experience teaching French, Italian
and English as a Second Language. She holds B.A. in French and English
and an M.A. in Italian from Middlebury College. She has also studied
in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, at the Sorbonne in Paris, France,
and Università di Firenze in Florence, Italy. At different
periods in time, Laura has held various teaching positions in Europe,
and has recently returned from three years living and working in Toulouse
and Marseille, France. |

Janice Price
Janice Price acquired her love of languages and cultures early in
life. She grew up bilingually/biculturally in both Austria and the
U.S., has traveled and studied in Germany, France and Spain and most
recently expanded her horizons toward Asia by living and teaching
in Japan for six months. She holds a B.A. from Stanford University
in German and an M.Ed. from Westminster College, Utah. She has over
20 years teaching experience with all ages and levels of German, French,
Spanish and her current specialty, English as a Second Language. |
